The Marshall County Airport is owned by Marshall County, Illinois. The FAA identifier is C75.
The airport was started in 1947 by a group of men with only one aircraft known as the "Flying Twenties". On March 31, 1948 the Department Of Aeronautics certified the Marshall County Airport as a "Class 1 Airport".
In 1949 two used metal hangars were constructed on the field. Today there are 46 aircraft based at C75 in a mix of old and new hangars.
C75 now boasts two runways, a modern lobby, modern runway lighting, automated weather reporting, two GPS approaches and one VOR approach.
The "Flying Twenties" would be proud of the busy, modern, and progressive airport that Marshall County Airport has become.
